I’ve been on the hunt for my perfect eyeshadow palette, and I think I’ve finally found it! I’ve been frustrated with my other palettes for lacking colors and taking up so much space with colors I never wear, so I decided to find one perfect palette to replace them all.
Do you use a bunch of palettes, or have you found your perfect palette?
I have been living with my year-round capsule wardrobe for a year now, and I have learned a few things in the process.
If you’re new to my Year-Round Capsule Wardrobe Series, check out these posts first:

I don’t need as much as I used to think I did.
I’m a lot pickier about my clothes now. I pay a lot more attention to how my clothes fit and feel, the fabric they’re made out of, and how I feel when I wear them, both while shopping and while evaluating what’s currently in my closet.
Things wear out faster when you wear them more often.
I get tired of wearing the same things over and over every few months.
My shopping habits have changed because I am now much pickier and more honest with myself about how things fit, feel & look while shopping.
Watch the video to hear a little more about what I’ve learned and to see what I’ve decluttered from my closet recently:
Here is my current numbers breakdown:
Layering Pieces: 6
Current Total: 52 items
And just for kicks and giggles, here is how my color palette has changed since last May:
Will I keep or return the clothing items I’ve ordered recently? Watch my haul from Target, Old Navy & JCPenney. Stay tuned for next week’s closet declutter, and catch up on my Year-Round Capsule Wardrobe posts in the meantime!

I’ve linked what I can, but some items are no longer available even though I just ordered them in the last couple of weeks!
Also, I mentioned the length of the jeans… I’m 5’6″ and ordered the regular length in both pairs.
